The Design Center of Nordrhein-Westfalen is considered one of the most prestigious design institutions in Europe. Some of the design items are not only on display, but are also in actual use. Among these are the mono windlights – half clear, half sand-blasted glass cylinders sitting on a heavy stainless steel pedestal. During outdoor events they provide an inviting atmosphere, while protecting the tea candles from fresh breezes.
